Cookie Policy

Last updated: 3 July 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how valueproposition.design uses cookies and similar local-storage technologies, and how you can manage your choices.

What cookies and local storage are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. Similar technologies such as local storage let a site remember information in your browser. Both can be strictly necessary, or used for analytics and advertising.

What this Site uses

This Site is intentionally light. It does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and it does not run third-party analytics by default.

It uses a single strictly necessary item of local storage to remember your cookie-banner choice, so we do not ask you again on every visit. This is stored only in your browser and is not shared.

Our contact and newsletter forms use a short-lived security token fetched at page load to protect against abuse. This token is held in memory for the page and is not a tracking cookie.

Third-party content

When you follow a link to a third party such as Amazon, Gumroad, Substack, Spotify or the Tactical website, that service may set its own cookies once you are on its pages. Those cookies are governed by the third party's own policies.

Managing your choices

You can accept or limit cookies from the banner shown on your first visit. You can also clear your browser's cookies and local storage at any time through your browser settings, which will remove your stored choice and show the banner again.

Because the Site does not currently deploy non-essential cookies, declining does not reduce functionality.
